The search can be done in two ways:
1. Drug Master Files
The user can set a range of search criteria such as type (biology, antigen vaccine, medicine), product, substance, etc. The search results appear in the scoreboard.
Clicking on any point of entry on the scoreboard before us, appears a breakdown of the components of the Drug Master File. The user can make or change data in the table 'Details' declare that it will commit the physical file by clicking the relevant button. Similarly, if the file is locked, the table shows the data capture (user, event capture, capture date) as shown in the following example.
2. Digital repository
In the text the user enters one or more keywords to search for files containing them.
- Two or more empty words: The system searches for files which contain at least one of the words (eg, positive drug)
- Two or more words with +: The system searches for files containing all the words (eg positive + drug)
- 'Phrase in quotation marks: The system searches for files that contain the exact phrase (eg "positive evaluation")

Displays on the left column of the the screen a relevant alert block
Displays a help window for data editing
Adds new record
Deletes the record
Displays more details for the record
A user has the document in his possession
No user has the document in his possession

The 'square buttons' in the middle correspond to the results pages. In this example there are two pages of results. The user is on page 1 (thus is highlighted). From left to right, the navigation images are:
